"I Can Do it Myself!"

This stubborn independent girl (one of the many we have in this house) often refuses to let us help her get dressed.  And when she can't do it or repeatedly tries and fails, she just runs around without clothes on and throws a fit if we try to do it for her.

The teenage years scare me.

Piggy Tails

Nothing says innocent quite like pigtails, and if I could keep my girls in pigtails the rest of their lives I would.

Comfortable Computer Time

Sometimes you're desire to play an Elmo game just plain old outweighs your desire to have a diaper on.

She was so upset as we were trying to get her dressed for bed she screamed and cried her way out of a new diaper and ran to the computer to play, hence the tear still on her cheek.

This just reminded me I need to get some Clorox wipes for that stool . . .

Remember When . . .

. . . all you needed to be entertained was a stinky ol' hamper on your head???

The Much Belated Birthday

Dan's birthday was back at the beginning of January, but our family was sick so he didn't get to have the "manly steak potluck" party he was hoping for.  Between illnesses and crazy Saturdays, it was another month before he was able to have his get-together.  Our friend made this awesome cake for the occasion.

And yes, he wanted a penguin.  THIS penguin.  It's the Linux mascot.  If you recognize him you're probably married to a computer guy or one yourself.

So Much Snow

We got a ton of snow in January and February this year.  Here's just a few quick pics of the kids playing in it.

The sledding pictures are thanks to my neighbor.  I was feeling way too lazy to get my camera but thankfully she had hers.
