Finding Nemo

For our at-home preschool, we learned about different sea creatures.  We made a list of creatures from an ocean book we have and then found pictures online to match our list.  Next we printed out our pictures and went to the aquarium for a scavenger hunt!  We were able to find everything except a lantern fish. 

Livin' the Dream

In January I had the opportunity to dance with fellow Zumba instructors for a Utah Jazz pregrame show.  We got the choreography 3 days before and had one rehearsal the day of.  Zumba megastar Lindsey Taylor was our leader.

We broke up for dinner and then headed to the Vivint Center.  I've had "Attend an NBA game" on my bucket list since I was a little kid but have never had the opportunity.  What a way to mark that one off!

It was a good opportunity to meet new people and make some connections. 

 In our "dressing room" a.k.a the storage room under the seats.  

Sure, there weren't so many people in their seats 30 minutes before game time, but it really didn't matter.  We had each other to party with.  

Though I'm not a big Jazz fan (since I grew up with the Blazers) we stayed for the game so I could mark it off my bucket list.  We had CRAPPY seats to start, like second to the most back row . . .

But in the 3rd quarter we got up the guts to move down to some MUCH better seats, and I guess we got lucky by not being kicked out like some friends of ours had that night.  It was so much easier to get into the game when you can actually SEE it!  Win in OT was a bonus.  :)

 

 The Jazz people liked us so much they want us to do a half time show next season.  That will be much cooler!  And next time . . . I'm paying for those better seats.
